Corrupt project file

My hard drive crashed, but I managed to recover the current project (which is corrupted) and an old autosave file that opens normally, but is very outdated.
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 - 25.6.3
Operating system – Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.3
Hardware - Mac Mini M4 Pro - 48 GB RAM

I would like to know if there is any way to extract just one sequence from within the corrupted project so I don't have to rebuild it from the outdated version.

Hi @alfredobarros,

Thanks for reaching out.  I'm sorry your project file was damaged.  As you mentioned, I was unable to open the corrupted project.  I've passed it along to a few other folks, but I can't make any promises. Do you know what caused the drive crash?  Was Premiere running when it happened?   Out of curiosity, was there not a more recent autosave, or were those corrupted as well?  Are you also having autosave problems?  I did see you had a crash about 5 days ago. Is that when the problem happened?

Sorry for the frustration, and thanks for reaching out.

Try creating a new project and attempt to import it from the project.  If it truly is corrupted, though, you are out of luck.
