Creative Cloud app has disappeared from my system? All apps work fine.

The folder Applications > Adobe Creative Cloud exists, but there is only one item in there - a link to Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.  If I 'Show Original' on this link, I get the usual macOS message "the original item can't be found".   Searching my system does not reveal the app Creative Cloud, only an app I can't seem to open called Creative Cloud Content Manager.

All my Adobe CC apps open and function as normal.   I know I didn't delete the CC app - I was looking for it to see if I could get the 2025.4.1 update, and I last used it to update to 2025.4 the day that was released  two week ago, but now I can't update, because the app no longer exists?

macOS 15.6.1

MacStudio M1 32Gb

EDIT:  Just tried to reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop app from a freshly downloaded installer, and macOS just tells me "Can't open the application Creative Cloud Installer because it is not responding"?

EDIT2: Restarted my system and Creative Cloud Installer ran.

EDIT3: Sorry, this has been a little like a live blog.   It appears all is back to normal - CC installed, and I was able to open it and update to 2025.4.1.   The only thing that has changed since I last opened CC is the macOS update I did this morning, from 15.5 to 15.6.1.   This may be behind it?   That said, After the MacStudio updated, I restarted it once out of habit.   It was then that I noticed the CC app had 'disappeared'.   So the second restart seemed to clear up something the first didn't?    Maybe that will help you identify where the issue lay.

I am having this exact issue after updating from High Sierra to Mojave. I am hesitant to uninstall all of the apps, which I need for work, because the Adobe website is not playing well with any of the browsers I have and I am afraid that I will not be able to reinstall them. It does not appear that the Creative Cloud app is anywhere on my system.  Is there an installer to install just the Creative Cloud app? If so, where do I find it?

Edit: Tried to access the download link from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/apps/download-install-apps/creative-cloud-apps/download-creative-cloud-desktop-app-from-web.html#download-links

But get an incompatible browser error in Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera.

Hi @POwens

Thanks for the post. It's very strange indeed. Did you try a full computer restart as well? When you reinstalled, did you run the uninstall first?  If not, maybe give that a go.
This post may also have some helpful ideas.
Adobe Creative Cloud is Missing

It's not exactly the same as your issue, but it has some good links and suggestions. Let me know if any of that works.
