Upgraded to 26.3.2 Build 2, ran into this issue.
Downloaded Beta 27.0.0 Build 13, now when I double click the video in the Program Monitor, it will only select the clip on the video track even though clips are still linked to an audio. Video/Audio targeting and source patching are both on for the two tracks the clips are on, “Linked Selection” is turned on, and when I move the now only video selection in the timeline the red numbers in the top left of the clip on the timeline show up indicating I’ve separated two linked items.

This is not how it works in 25.6.6 Build 5, and I don’t remember it ever doing that in the past (but can only confirm the behavior in the mentioned version I have).

A fix for this issue should be available in the latest 26.5 beta. Please let us know if you still experience any issues. Thanks!

There is an issue with footage that has linked audio. On double clicking the program monitor, it selects the video on the timeline but doesn’t select the audio even when ‘Linked Selection’ is enabled. This behaviour didn’t exist in 26.0 or any previous 2025 releases. Check the @bigred72101’s reply for more info. Now it properly switches the selection but there is an issue with selecting the linked audio.

@IanB_360 This report went unseen, I really believe that this is a genuine bug. Can you look into this as well? pretty sure it wasn’t like this in prior versions. Thank you!
