Dynamic Link continually breaking

SO Frustrating. I will be working along in Premiere with my file and for no reason, my dynamic links will quit out. I have restarted like all the suggestions and that does not fix it. I have one file in particular that if I now try and bring it in via dynamic link, it will not even connect, and it was working just fine an hour ago.

file is 675 megs zipped, so I can't attach it here

That still leaves the very interesting question: What has changed about your system, since that project last worked fine, an hour (or so) ago?

What versions (found in their about boxes) of PPro and AE are you using?

Yes on the one AE file that has all my comps. Nothing has changed on my system at all. In fact, I'm holding off on the latest sonoma dot release for fear that it will make things worse.

Yes, I have auto update on, but both applications were updated 11 days ago-previous to be starting this project and using this workflow

When you say "one file", you mean a composition from an AE project, yes?

What has changed about your system, in the past hour (since it last worked)? Do you have auto-update turned on, for Creative Cloud apps?
