Enabling an Object Mask makes the entire source clip disappear in previous 26.x version

I had a project in version 26.2.2 where I used Object Masks.

I was experiencing playback issues, so I found out that version 26.0.2 might offer better performance.

After rolling back, I reopened the project, but all the Object Masks caused my source clips to become invisible whenever they were enabled.

I'm still looking for a fix.

Hi @Sessionn,

Welcome to the Premiere Forums! Thank you for reporting this issue. To try to assist you further, the team will need further information:

  • Did you try reseting the preferences and clearing the cache?
  • Is the same issue occurring in Premier 26.3?
  • What system are you working on. MacOs or Windows?
    • Can you please specify and let us know the version of your system?
  • Where are the Premiere files/autosaves and the Object Mask folder stored?
    • An object mask folder is created automatically beside autosave/project files. We want to make sure you have access to those files/folder.
  • Is this the first time you're experiencing this issue?
  • Would it be possible to share a screen recording of when this issue occurs?

The team hopes we can help you soon!

Best,

Jonathan
