"Enhance speech" part is silent during playback

"Enhance speech" part is silent during playback but works fine at export. If i set the mix to 100% enhance speech on a clip, the clip is silent, but if i put it at 0 i can hear the original audio.

I tried to reset Premiere and remove the media cache files, nothing. The only fix was to completely reinstall Premiere (with the cleaning tool) and remove the preference files, but the bug eventually came back after a while.
