Export and Transcribe tabs freeze

Sometimes export and transcribe tabs freeze, clicking on them does nothing, everything else seems to work fine. The issue can occur in random course of time, right afrer the start or after 5-15 minutes.

This happens only on PP25 and Beta, PP24 works fine.

It's very frustrating to reload every now and then. I have to work in PP25, as this is the team projects.

Tried cleaning cache, reinstalling...

I'm on the 25.3 beta build 57. And, no it happens on every PP25 version. Just, Beta closes and opens faster for me.

Hi @dg_victoria_5530 -  What beta version and build are you on currently?

Are you saying you don't have these issues in the beta version?

Yeah, I downgraded to version 25.0 and it worked for a day, but I guess, it's just when I do not use the Text tab.

As soon as I start to use it, to transcribe and/or edit/create captions, the freezes start. I generally do podcasts, so it's essential in the workflow at certain points.
So now I'm just using beta as it reloads faster. 😞

Hi @dg_victoria_5530 - You mention that the issue disappeared for awhile, is there any reproducible steps you can remember when the issue came back?  Have you tried creating fresh new settings?

Thank y'all for help, but nothing changes. I guess there's something else than plug-ins.

Is there any log file that can shed some light on what's happening?

Hi @dg_victoria_5530 -  You can uninstall the panels from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.  On the Home tab you should see Plugins on the right hand side.  Click the plugin tab and select the three dots to uninstall.

You can also remove the CEP panels at  C:\\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions

Sorry I missed that Jamie already covered the startup option. But "Disable third-party plugins (one-time only)" is not working in PR 25.2.1 on Win 10 for the 3 extensions I have under Window -> Extensions.

The path you are checking appears to me to be only for older versions.

Two of my 3 extensions show in the Cloud Desktop/Plugins, one does not. One extension shows in Cloud Desktop/Plugins, but not under Window -> Extensions.

Beyond my knowledge to troubleshoot this.

Edit: some are in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\, in their own directories.

I did that. The extensions are still there!

@dg_victoria_5530,

Also, hold Shift down when starting PR. In the "Reset options," pick "Disable third-party plugins (one-time only)."

Hi @dg_victoria_5530 - If you are talking about the panels, then you can uninstall them from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.  On the Home tab you should see Plugins on the right hand side.
