Export Crashes when VST Plugin "1176 FET Compressor" from Universal Audio is used

Tried it on 2 computers. When UA 1176 is used in the track mixer, I'm not able to render a Clip with audio.
turn audio off worked, render to a file sequence worked.
Crashed when export Media from Premiere as well as export via Media Encoder.

Took me a long time to nail that sucker down!

Leave the 1176 in, but turn it off and do compression via the build in "dynamics" renders worked without problems.
The funny thing is, the plugin does, who it should during editing, but render, it won't!

best

Even though the pluin works in other apps, UA might have some help to offer.

I don't think there is a global audio effects mute. (I hope someone proves me wrong).

Nevertheless, you might find more flexibility using submixes to control your audio effects. See this page.

It works perfectly fine in my DAW (Reaper), so my guess was, that Premiere must be the issue here, since the audioplugin handling is awful anyways, tbh.

- Why is it, that only one plugin can be open at a time???

- Is there a way to bypass a plugin chain in the Audio track mixer? Do i really have to turn off each effect, one by one?

I'm going off topic here...
