Export via AME with wrong srt-subtitles | Export über AME mit falschen SRT-Untertiteln

I have several subtitle tracks in a sequence.
When exporting/rendering, I select “Create sidecar file” -> Subtitle track 2 (U2).
I send the export process to Adobe Media Encoder.

When I check in Adobe Media Encoder,
subtitle track 1 (U1) is now set for export again. But it should be U2!

Assumption:
The export project is not being transferred cleanly from Premiere Pro to Media Encoder.

Best regards,
Matthias
----------------
Ich habe in einer Sequenz mehrere Untertitel-Spuren.
Dabei wähle ich beim exportieren/rendern "Sidecar-Datei erstellen" aus -> Untertitel-Spur 2 (U2).

Matthias

Hi @ka boom agw28856038  and @Stan Jones

Thanks so much for all your information and help with this. I can reproduce it and have filed a bug report.

I can replicate this in PR Beta 25.6.0.48 and AME 25.6.0.50. The selected track IS the track exported, but the track picked in PR is not the one transferred to AME, which returns to the default (always caption track 1).

I also tested this unacknowledged bug that is still present:

Hi Rach McIntire

I can confirm that the subtitles (U2) are exported correctly directly from Premiere Pro.

I imported the subtitles as an srt file using drag & drop.

Test:
The error even occurs when I create a new Premiere Pro project and create a standard sequence with 2 subtitle tracks.
No video file or text in the subtitles.
But here too, Media Encoder automatically displays the U1 sidecar track, even though I selected U2.

Hi @ka boom agw28856038,

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums!  We’re happy you’ve reached out.  Can you confirm that exporting  Subtitle track 2 (U2) to render out of Premiere directly works correctly?  Can you also tell me how the subtitles were created/ imported?  We’ll need a bit more info to try to help with your issue. Please see: How do I report a Problem?   I hope we can help you soon.
