Export window fails to load

When I go to export a sequence, the export window fails to load. The problem is inconsistent - it only happens with some sequences.

 

Steps to encounter:

1. In a sequence, have the timeline selected.

2. Go to file -> Export -> Media

 

Result: nothing happens.

Expected: export mode window opens.

 

While some sequences won't export, I'll open different sequence and find that I can export it without issue. (And when I go back to export the prior, 'problematic' sequence, it will continue to fail to export.) Sometimes making a new project somehow enables export mode to open for the problematic sequence. Sometimes the export window pops up extremely belatedly. At one point, I was sending the sequence to Media Encoder, and Media Encoder was freezing.

 

I'm using the public release of Premiere v24.5.0 (Build 57)

OS: macOS Sonoma 14.7

    Closing the LucidLink extension panel definitely helped, but the export window still often takes multiple attempts to open or opens with lag.

    We narrowed this down to having the LucidLink panel open while working. Since that is scanning all the sequences/bins in your current project it was causing this lag to occur. Once we closed the LucidLink panel everything works as it should.

      I can confirm this same behavior is happening to me on 24.5 (Beta) within an Adobe Production.  I saw that this was also posted here:

      I tried the fix of resetting my preferences, which did not fix the issue.

       

      My process has been similar:

      1. I have a sequence open, either click "Export" or hit CMD+M to export the sequence
      2. Nothing happens, but Premiere is totally functional. I can open Projects, edit sequences, etc.
      3. Randomly the Export window might open, but it will be totally blank.  If I close all the projects I have open, including the one with the sequence I am trying to export, a blank export window will appear where the timeline was before closing the projects.
      4. Many times once I see the blank export window, if I try to export the sequence again, the export window will appear as it should and I can export the sequence.  Thie behavior will continue until I close the project.  If I go to re-open the project with the same sequence, this process starts all over again.
