File Import failure Zenmuse H30T

I've tried various settings and problem solving such as changing video format file but I keep having problems with the following issue.

Everytime when I try to import a video file made with a DJI drone (M350 with a Zenmuse H30T camera) I get the following error: "The file has an unsupported compression type".

I've already tried changing the videosettings of the camera (H264 and H265), changing the bitrate, changing the resolution,... but still keep getting the error. Even in Media encoder I get the same error. If I transcode with VLC player I can import the transcoded versions and I have my video files but this is so time consuming....

All drivers and software are updatet to the latest versions.

That's quite the drone, btw ... but interesting that on the DJI site I can't even find the specs for the video files it produces. Lengthy data on the moving/holding ability, all flight characteristics ... ah well.

It has always been the case that DJI pushes the boundaries of what is even possible or allowable for long-GOP video file encoding ... one file I saw over a year ago had a spot with four partial i-frames in a row, it was over 120 frames between actual full i-frames, and yea that was a mess to work with.

So I'm wondering if the Adobe folks are having to play catch-up with another "innovative" encoding process from DJI ... which might be the case.

Using the Tree View of MediaInfo, and drag/dropping a screen-grab of the video data section into your text reply box. might be an interesting thing to see the encoding they are using.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Hi @Serkan218813787dow,

Welcome to the forums. I'm happy to have you here. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems importing your camera files.  Would you be able to share one of the problem files with me for testing?  Can you also tell me which version of Premiere you are using?

Please give the team a few more details. Please see: How do I report a Problem?  I hope we can help you shortly. Sorry for the pain points.
