Floating window disappears when exporting
Issue:
After exporting a sequence, either wither Premiere Pro or through Media Encoder, a floting window disappears. It can be restored by shutting down Premiere Pro, or by switching to another Workspace and then back to my default Workspace.
Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 24.5.0 (Build 57)
This issue has been persisting over many past releases
Operating system - Windows or macOS, and which version of those operating systems?
Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621
System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD:

GPU and Driver Version: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, Driver Version 32.0.15.5612
RAM: 128GB
Hard Drive (and, if external, how the drive is connected: USB 3, Thunderbolt, etc.).:
512GB NVMe (C:)
2TB SSD (D:)
Video format: H.264 Full HD (output)
Workflow details: my project is used to prepare fancam recordings for youtube upload.
The assets are placed in a bin ('0. assets') and are 4K videos recorded with a Samsung S24 Ultra phone, with HDR10+ in HEVC format.
An asset, part or asset or more than one asset are placed in sequences in a bin called '1. grouping and trimming'
Next, previous sequences are placed inside new sequences in a bin called '2. audio gain & exposure correction'
Next, previous sequences are placed inside new sequences in a bin called '3. close ups'
Next, previous sequences are placed inside new sequences in a bin called '4. youtube' (adding titles and embeded logos)
The sequences from the final stage are then exported.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a Premiere Pro project
- Move the timeline to a floating window
- Save as a Workspace (mine is called "Editing")
- Restart Premiere Pro to verify that the Workspace is saved
- Open a sequence in the timeline
- Click "Export" and export it to a video (directly or via Media Encoder)
Expected result:
When Premiere Pro returns from "Export" to "Edit", floating windows should be restored automatically.
Actual result:
Floating windows are not restored
You can restore the window by restarting Premiere Pro, or by switching to a different Workspace and then back to the Editing workspace.
