Frame IO Crash

Exporting using the Frame IO panel crashes maybe 3 out of 4 times. It’s infuriating.

The other major bug is it continues to export the wrong sequence. I will export sequence.v01 and then, when I export sequence.v02, on Frame IO, the sequence will have the correct name, but when I play it, it’s the old v1 sequence. I have deleted my cache, have the latest updated versions of Premiere, and nothing fixes this problem.

I too have problems with the frame.io extension crashing premiere. Many crash reports sent. I get two or three exports then crash…. I have had probably 30 crashes in the last 3 months...

Premiere Version: What is the exact version of Premiere you're using? (For example, Premiere 26.3.0 (Build 93)
Operating System: Specify the macOS or Windows, along with the version
- GPU Driver (Windows only): Please let us know your video card driver version.
  - We recommend updating to the most recent version; for NVIDIA users, we strongly recommend the Studio version of the driver..
Screen Recording: If possible, can you share a recording of your screen showing the issue?
Steps to Reproduce: A numbered list of the exact steps needed to replicate the issue.
Expected Result: What should happen after the final step?
Actual Result: What actually occurred?

Comparing when and where the issue occurs helps us narrow down the cause:

Does it affect all projects or only some?
Does it affect new, empty projects?
When did the problem first begin?
