Frame.io Panel Won't Log In

The Issue

On macOS, when upgrading from one version of Premiere to another, the Frame.io panel will get stuck when attempting to log in.It won’t open your browser to the Frame.io authentication flow when you try to log in.

The Fix

Our team is investigating the root cause of the issue. This is our number one priority for the Frame.io panel in Premiere. However, you don’t have to wait for us to get logged into Premiere.

The Workaround

In the short-term, you can log into the Frame.io panel if you delete the authentication token that was created in a previous version of Premiere.

  1. Close Premiere
  2. Go to Keychain Access (not Passwords)
  3. Under ‘Login Items’, scroll down to ‘com.adobe.frameio.token’
  4. Right-click the token and select ‘Delete’
  5. If prompted, confirm you want to delete the token
  6. Re-open Premiere and log into the Frame.io panel

I wasn’t able to delete the token for whatever reason, so instead I gave it access to the Premiere 2026 app and it let me log in after that.

Oh! That’s a helpful find. Thank you for sharing, @K28858485xzh8! In Keychain Access, I find that I can’t delete a token if I search for it. For some reason, it only works when scrolling to it in the long list of tokens.

This also worked for me...somehow it got stuck in some cycle and this fixed it after trying other approaches that did not work. Good luck everyone!

Sure thing! Sorry it was an issue to begin with. We’re working on a long-term solution now.

I hope a permanent fix is coming for this? Having to do this every once in a while is not ideal.

Correct. We are working on a permanent fix. This is a short-term workaround while we work on the long-term solution.
