Hi everyone,

I receive This error message every time I try to use it. Any ideas?
Information:

Premiere Pro v25.2.3 (Build 4)
Hardware: Macbook Pro 2023. 64Gb Ram. Apple M2 Max. Sonoma 14.6.1

Firewall is turned off.

Internet connection is working.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks to everyone for their input.

It would be really helpful if Adobe announced the differences with educational versions. I wasn't told and wanted to show this function to the students at the University I work at.

Hi @Matthew27062300zwot,

As @Tron_UofI referenced, Firefly video features are not currently available on EDU enterprise plans.

Hi. Yes I should have said that in the opening post. I'm an educational user. I'm an Adobe trainer at a University.

Hi folks,

For anyone googling this who stumbles across this, EDU accounts do not have access to this feature yet.  Here is a copy/paste from Adobe's support.

"Please know, currently, the Firefly Video Public Beta is not available for EDU accounts as we are working to ensure the video generation model meets educational compliance standards. Our team is actively working on this, and we look forward to making the feature available in the future. We appreciate your understanding as we work toward its availability."

I feel like it should've been hidden from EDU license users, but I'm no software developer and I understand it's a lot more complex than: IF license == edu, THEN hide generative ai tool WHERE software == Premiere Pro."  ; )

Hi @Matthew27062300zwot,

Are you on an educational enterprise plan?

I'm having this same issue.  This is an education version (but also labeled enterprise elswhere), with 1000 generative credits per month.  It's there in the toolbar, i can drag it, i can see the little pie chart thingy go from 0 to 100%, then i'm hit with the same error.  I've edited serviceconfig.xml so everything is true, rebooted, even tried the beta version.  I'm using the actual tutorial video that Adobe provides, so it's not that the video is not compatable.

Yes, I tried that. Still having the same error message. It's quite frustrating.

Hi @Matthew27062300zwot
have you tried signing in and out of your Adobe Creative Cloud account?
