Getting generic error when trying to link in team project

Hi there,

I am part of a team project but when they edit they have no problems with all of the files. We are linking from the same dropbox drive, the only difference is they are using windows and i am using mac, not sure if thats a problem, it never was before. But now i cannot link my media.

See error message, no matter what I cannot link.

Also, seperately, the font they use is different, how can i use the same font they have?

Hi @Finlay Films,

have you tried to relink your media by creating a media mapping via the Media Management dialog - Media mapping using Media Management?
Regarding the font issue, do you have the font installed on your machine - How to import fonts in Adobe Premiere Pro?

Using a cloud file syncing service on active media, can result in file access collisions.

Also, those sync services can 'pretend' that the local file is present, but downloading those files on demand pretty much guarantees failure. 🙂

Test: If you move that same .mp3 file to the desktop, can PPro successfully import it?
