Glitch appears on the preview and the export in Premiere Pro.
I used to launch Premiere Pro using Shift key to activate Mercury Playback Engine only, and the problem was solved. But since v25.4, it doesn't existe anymore. When the GPU is activated, there are some glitches on the preview, some lines with different colors. This lines appear in the export too.

SYSTEM: Windows
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (version 25.11.1)
It affects every videos and pictures formats, and every projects.

Thanks for your help.
Vincent.

Hi @Dani_V.

The problems started a few months ago. I use Adobe applications since 2024 and at the beginning, there were no problems.
I already tried to downgrade drivers, re-install drivers, and I even reseted my PC to re-install everything, all the Adobe applications, etc... But the problem is still there.
I looked for solutions on internet but the only solution I found was to launch Premiere using the "Mercury playback engine only". So I keep using the last version of Premiere where this feature is allowed.

Hi @vincent_1560, thanks for the video. Did this start with a driver or operating system update, or has it always been an issue on your machine? Have you tried rolling back and/or re-installing drivers?

Hi @Dani_V.

I can send you a project file, with any kind of media, it affects every formats of every medias.
I send you a quick video to show the differents issues.
Also, when I launch Premiere using the GPU render, the screen is freezing a few seconds and a AMD report bug appears.
May the problem come from the GPU ? [AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (version 25.11.1)]

Hi @vincent_1560, would you be interested in sharing a project file with the team with a sample or two of affected media? I can message you if so.

Hi @Dani_V.

I'm using the v25.3 of Premiere Pro because it's the last version with which I can run using the "Mercury Playback Engine only". In the latest versions, this feature has been deleted. When I use this feature, the problem doesn't appear. But I can't use the latest versions because of this problem.

It happens with every formats of videos and pictures, even with proxy files or After Effects files.

I tried to disable "Hardware accelerated decoding" but it didn't change anything.

Thanks for your answer.

Hi @vincent_1560

Thank you for reporting a problem and sorry you've been experiencing issues, we need a few more details to help, like the version of Premiere Pro you are on currently

What kind of formats are your videos and pictures and what is their source? Have you been able to try ProRes files, or try transcoding the affected videos to ProRes?

Under Preferences > Media, do you see this happen if you disable hardware accelerated decoding? (You'll need to restart Premiere Pro)

Sorry for the frustration,
Dani
