Global FX Mute Causing Black Screen

I just encountered a weird pesky little bug.

 

When I enable the Global FX Mute, as soon as I move my playhead, all monitors turn black (program and source). The only way to get it working again is by restartring Premiere.

 

Anyone else encountered this bug?

 

I'm on Premiere 25.5.0, Windows 11, working with ProRes Proxies (source media is offline).

It seems to be project-specific, I couldn't replicate the bug in other projects.

I even removed all effects and tried the FX Mute, it still caused the same issue. I'll share more details if I ran into in other projects as well.

What are your hardware specs and are your drivers up-to-date? Are you using any external monitors?

 

What effects are being used on the clips and timeline? Is this project specific or are you seeing it throughout different projects?
