I have to reinstall Premiere Pro every 2-3 months months as it crashes when opening projects.

Premiere Pro is crashing when opening any project.

This is a consistent issue that has been occurring every two to three months. Maybe four or five times this year already.

Clearing app preferences, plugin cache, media cache and restarting the computer doesn’t resolve the issue. The only resolution I’ve found is to do a fresh reinstall.

Premiere Pro 26.5.0 (Build 99)

MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2

MacBook Pro 2023 16” M2 Pro, 32gb Ram

According to the error log, Premiere Pro is possibly crashing while recreating the panel layout from the saved workspace (which is the default ‘All Panels’ workspace). I’ve saved the full logs if this helps.
