I updated to premier pro 26.5.1 and when I open old projects media gets relinked to different / wrong files.

• Please specify Windows or macOS, along with the version.
  • Chip (Mac Only): Specify which M-series Chip or CPU/GPU combo.
  • GPU Driver (Windows only): Please let us know your video card driver version. We recommend updating to the most recent version; for NVIDIA users, we strongly recommend the Studio version of the driver.

Furthermore, we’ll need some additional context about your environment:

• How old is this project and how many Premiere Versions has it been used in?
  • What version was it created in?
• Did you initially create this project, or was the project created elsewhere then passed off to you?
• Is this a consolidated project created via Project Manager?
• When relinking, is relink automatically checked off? What is checked (or not checked) in the relink window?
  • Reference link: Relink offline clips
• Is there any duplicate file names, or proxies stored on the same drive where you’re trying to relink footage?
