Import Media functionality Restarts Computer

Recent issue as of the last two weeks. Import Media sends my laptop into a Restart/Reboot, not a full crash. One file or a batch of files, no matter the quantity the import media causes a restart. Simple H.264 codecs and small sizes which used to work very simply within Premiere Pro cause this issue as well as bigger files.

RAM: 16gb - 10gb in preferences for Premiere Pro

AMD Radeon™ RX 6700M Mobile Graphics and dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory

It doesn't seem to be a CPU or GPU heating issue as I was monitoring temps and they didn't exceed 81c. This is an MSI laptop so it tends to hover around there

Reverting to the previous version of Premiere Pro didn't resolve the issue, but I have dont a handful of edits on the previous version without this restart bug. Any ideas?
