In version 26.2.2, auto-save is causing Premier to crash

In recent versions, the program freezes for a few seconds when the auto-save feature is enabled. The video plays, but the program’s functions don’t work. I have to force-close the program. This issue occurs in all projects, regardless of the number of files or effects. I didn’t notice the auto-save process before, but now it’s causing me discomfort, so I’ve turned it off.  The project size is 3–10 MB. Just don't tell me that my hard drive can't save 3 MB in 10 seconds—and that's why it freezes.

    Hi @Paul_Gringo,

    Thank you for following up.

Where is your project file, and media stored? Are they saved in the same location?

If they are saved in the same location, can you try moving the project file to a different location (locally on the computer, for example).  Perhaps there is a read/write issue if the machine is trying access both the project file and media at the same location.

    Best,

No, I have two M.2 SSDs. They're installed directly on the motherboard, and they pass all the tests. I don't understand about the panel. What are you trying to say? Why does it need to be closed? I wasn't using it when the auto-saves took place.
