Intermittent audio clicks / crackling caused by Media Cache in Premiere Pro

Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro where intermittent audio clicks / crackling noises appear during playback while editing.

I’ve identified that the problem is related to the Media Cache. When I delete the media cache and reopen the project, the clicks disappear completely. However, after some time editing, the clicks come back again.

I’ve already tried changing the Media Cache location to another drive, but the issue persists. The clicks are not present in the original audio files, only during playback inside Premiere Pro.

This makes audio editing very difficult, especially when working on longer sessions. I would appreciate any guidance or confirmation if this is a known bug.

Thank you.

I am reporting a CRITICAL BUG in Premiere Pro that is directly
impacting my professional work and client deliveries.

Audio plays correctly in the timeline, but when exporting with
audio effects enabled, the final file contains distorted or
    altered audio.

This issue is consistent and fully reproducible.
The only temporary workaround is disabling and re-enabling
audio effects, but the problem returns on every export.

This has caused lost time, rework, delayed deliveries,
and potential breach of client deadlines.

All audio is properly configured at 48 kHz in both sequence
and export. This is not a user configuration error, but a
failure in Premiere Pro’s audio export engine.

    Requesting urgent attention, official acknowledgement,
and a stable fix. This issue seriously harms professional use
    of the software.
