"Invalid type conversion" error and blank UXP Panel when opening/creating projects after latest update

Hi Adobe Team,

Ever since I updated to the latest version of Premiere Pro (v26.3), I have been experiencing a recurring bug. Every time I open an existing project or create a new one, I receive an error message in the Events panel saying "Invalid type conversion." > Simultaneously, a blank panel named "UXP Panel 1" appears on my workspace (as seen in the attached screenshot). This issue did not happen in the previous versions.

System Info:

  • Premiere Pro version: 26.3 (Latest Update)

  • Operating System: macOS Sonoma

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Update Adobe Premiere Pro to v26.3.

  2. Launch the application.

  3. Open any existing project OR create a brand new project.

  4. The Events panel automatically pops up showing the "Invalid type conversion" error.

  5. A blank "UXP Panel 1" is visible in the UI.

Expected Behavior: The project should open smoothly without triggering random UXP panel errors or event warnings, just like it did in previous versions.

I have attached a screenshot of my workspace showing the Events panel and the blank UXP panel for your reference. Any help to resolve this would be appreciated. Thank you!
