Join All Through Edits joins different text graphics into one

When using the Join All Through Edits shortcut different text graphics next to each other join together. I just had to redo the text on about 30 lower thirds because of not noticing this had happened.

Update: I just found out it happens with shape layers as well. So it seems to happen with all graphic layer types.

I’m on Version 26.2.0 (Build 65)

    @LarpingCat:

    If a Graphic has a through edit then yes, it will be joined if Join All Through edits is used.

    Use duplicates of the Graphic instead of adding an edit if you do not want them to be affected when Join All Through edits is used.

    as a matter of fact, you can not trust this function fully. “Through edits” in Premiere only show edits between neighbor frames no matter whether maybe there is a change in filters, sizing, volume or anything else.

    Avid for example marks through edits in red when something differs between the two clips.

    @daapap

    Having something that indicates that the properties of each side of a trough edit are different would be helpful.  If you post that as feature request, please link back to it here and I’ll vote for it.  But there’s nothing to trust or not trust.  It’s just an edit that plays through the same source clip.
