Losing all punctuation when generating captions from transcript in Chinese

Hey everybody. I have the following issue: 

 

I transcribed a video in Chinese. The transcript shows the text with all punctuation. If I now create a Caption within premiere it loses all punctuation. 

 

This also happens in Japanese and Korean, but not in German or English.  Those are the languages I tested, since they are relevant to me at the moment.

 

I am running:

M1 Mac Studio os14.7 (23H124), System Language German

Premiere Pro Version 25.3.0, Application Language English

 

Does someone have a similar issue? Looking forward to some answers. If I forgot to provide any critical information, please let me know.

Hi, 

i already added two screenshots. The one marked as transcript shows the transcribed first paragraph with the punctuation in it. the second one, marked as caption shows the same paragraph without punctuation

Can you provide a basic example of what is in the transcript tab vs. what you see in captions?
