Media offline but they are not

I recently updated Premiere Pro to 25.6.2 and since then I can't export because PPro and Media encoder think my medias are offline. I tried to export previous project I did last week and this doesn't work eithier even tho it worked last week. It gives me the same error in media encoder ( in french, here is the translation ''offline media detected and will be encoded using the offline media graphic'' )

Here are the steps and solutions I tried in order :

- creating a new project and importing media;
- unlinked and then linked the media;
- changed media to a different folder and then linked;
- deleted ppro, media encoder and mac cache;
- restarted my mac;
- rolled back ppro to the previous update;
- opened a privious project that I successfuly exported last week and now it says offline media;
- updated mac to Sequoia 15.7.2 from 15.5.something;
- renaming media and linking it.

when I work on my timeline the medias load properly and can playback the video without any problems. Also when I look in the event window there are no problems.

The problems seems to be only when I try to export where I see the red frame.

The only solution I have not yet tried is uninstalling and installing Media encoder but I doubt it will work. All my medias are stored locally on my computer in files and subfiles. I have been doing the same method for a long time without any problem and starting to be out of solutions for this problem.

Thank you in advance for help!

Hi @Gabriel b., WeTransfer works! I've sent you a message if you rather share through there.

Hi @Dani_V. ,

Sorry for the delay! Yes I'd be interested to share my projects and media with the team! Can I send you a wetransfer with all the files?

My source media are mp4, the effect I used were wave warp, noise, color lumini and a lut. I can't export even if I delete them. I have tried another project that I successfuly exported earlier this month, but when I tried again on the 25th it did not work!

Hi @Gabriel b.

Thank you for reporting a problem and sorry you're experiencing issues. What kind of source media are you working with?

Have you been able to try other files or projects, or does this seem to be file/project-specific?

What effects are on your adjustment layers, and do you see a difference if you export without them?

Would you be interested in sharing your project and media with the team so we can take a look?

Sorry for the frustration,
Dani

No! Usually I export my media with the export button within Premiere but the button stoped working too since today. When I click export nothing happen and this is why I then tried with Media Encoder. Media encoder is also updated to the latest version 25.6.

For Media Encoder I found a fix I unticked "Import sequences natively" in the AME general preferences and then I was able to export. Previously this option was ticked and it worked. But I would still like a fix for the export button in premiere to work and for Media Encoder with the option ticked like before!

Will it export with the correct media if you use the Export button from within Premiere instead of Media Encoder?

I have seen other exporting issues in the past when Premiere and Media Encoder weren't the same version. You could check if Media Encoder has also been updated.
