My new RTX 5060 TI freezes during CUDA export and seems not to work.

Anyway, my card arrived last week, and it seems my excitement has turned into frustration. The card was installed correctly with the latest Studio driver, version 591.44. Only today was I able to test it, as I'm on vacation from work due to the end-of-year holidays. I filmed personal videos of my family's Christmas celebrations, recording everything in 4K with the intention of testing the video card at its highest level, but it freezes during export. In the video, the only effects I used in Premiere were Lumetri Color, Film Impact transitions, and a simple title.

I don't know what to do. My experience with this card is very frustrating. My old 3060 card was working perfectly. I'm on Premiere version 25.5. Should I uninstall the 5060 Ti and go back to the 3060? Or should I wait for a solution from Adobe and Nvidia?

Hi @Victor5CD3
Thanks for reaching out.  I'm sorry to hear your new Nvidia card is causing issues.  @Peru Bob's ideas are all good. You can also try rolling back to the previous driver version.  I know the Nvidia 5060 Ti has had some issues with black screens and general freezingThis thread also has some suggestions you might try.

I can't say whether you should put the old card back, but once you get back to work and are under a deadline, it may be worth it to go with what was working.

A clean install was performed; no other drivers were installed. Even when I removed my old card, I uninstalled the 3060 drivers to do a completely clean install. I don't understand, despite seeing people on forums like Reddit not speaking well of the RTX 50 series. When I get back from my trip, I'll try your suggestion; I'll uninstall and reinstall the driver again. I believe that by the time I return, there will already be a new Studio driver. Thank you, Peru Bob, happy new years.

Try uninstalling the Studio driver, and reinstall, choosing the Custom option to do a clean installation.
