No "Timeline" settings in the "Preferences" of Version 24.0

Installed a trial of the new version of PR on my laptop to give it a test run of the 24.0. Reinstalled 3 times already but I can't see the Timeline settings in the Preferences.

Is it just me or my machine?

Hoping anyone could chime in. Thanks.

Sync Settings are supposed to be there. Here's what a full list of prefences looks like in 24.1

Try installing Creative Cloud Desktop and enable all settings in the "Sync Settings" section. My Timeline settings enabled by doing that.

Yes, same problem here. Seems to be a bug in v24.0

Thanks for the reply. At least I know now that I'm not alone with this problem or it is unique a bug seen only by me.

I have used the workaround posted in the reddit thread page to continue use version 24.0 for me to change settings in the missing part of the preferences.

Tried resetting the Preferences but still same. I found this issue also on reddit with the same version 24.0.

@RMMedia Hm, I don't see this on my systems. While I don't usually like to advise resetting your preferences as the first step, this is a case where that might need to happen. Could you try this?

  1. Quit Premiere Pro
  2. Hold the Shift key, then launch Premiere Pro again
  3. Check only "Reset App Preferences"
  4. Click Continue

Does that fix it?

Anyone currently in version 24.0 have this problem?
