Object Mask Tool Freezing

Welcome to the Premiere forums. Thank you for including details about your setup and your Object Masking issue in Premiere v26.3, that’s very appreciated. Yes, that sounds frustrating, sorry to hear that. I see that you’ve even tried to use it in new projects as well and having the same result. It also sounds like you’ve tried a few different footage clips (do they happen to be the same kind like .mp4, .mov, mxf, etc.) Our team is going to look into this. 

I wonder, are you getting any error messages or crashes when this happens? 

When it freezes up, can you pull up Activity Monitor and send us a screenshot of that in your next reply (or relay the info on Premiere specifics)?

One last thing: is your media and project files locally stored or on hard drive/ssd or elsewhere?
