Open sequences are not saved

This is one thing that bugs me for many versions of premiere now.

There are multiple possible situations that will change, close or even open random sequences:

  • closing and opening a project
  • resetting or changing workspaces

Source sequences are not saved at all when closing a project.

The problem with that is when working between multiple sequences, every time I reopen the project, I need to go through the process of opening all that sequences.
Premiere should save them, their state (source sequence) and their order when closed.
Moving panels is saved when I close the program, so why are sequences not in a reliable way?

Yes, I know this setting. It’s always checked, doesn’t change how unreliable it works. Sometimes some sequences get restored (when I only open one or two) but most the time and when working with more they will not be restored.

Furthermore, when switching or restoring workspaces, it always has been pretty common for me that sequences will get messed up and source sequences won’t get stored at all (in their current state being a source sequence).

With “messed up” I also talk about the order and in which timeline window they are (when working with pancake editing technique)
