overlays and guides disappearing in PP 2026.0.2

I’m enjoying how fast PP 2026.0.2 loads.

However, it’s pretty buggy. In particular, my guides and overlays disappear frequently when I click between windows. The only way I know to get them back is to close and re-open the project.

    Thanks for reaching out. There are some known issues in v26 with mask outlines not displaying in certain situations, but you’re saying it's your guides and overlays.  

     

    A quick thing to try: pressing Shift+0 twice can sometimes bring overlays back without needing to close the project.

    Could you also let us know:

     

    • What OS and version are you on?
    • Does this happen in all projects or a specific one?
    • Are you on a single or multiple monitors?
