P: Morph Cut causing Premiere Pro to crash every time. Help!

Yes, Premiere Pro should not crash; that is expected behavior. Will get back to this crash issue once we have an update. Apologies, I didn't update that part in my last response.

Yes! I agree. It used to work beautifully with no issues...so what happened? It totally put me behind the eight ball with the constant crashing. The BIG problem is that even if after the crash I opted to find an alternate approach, PP would load the same Morph cut and crash again. So any edits I made since my last SAVE just prior to Morph Cut were gone. Either fix this or remove Morph Cut as a feature. 

@MaanviG, it probably shouldn't cause a Premiere crash though, even if it's not a valid scinereo. I'd rather get an alert dialog or something indicating I can't do this. If I'm quickly working through an edit and accidently drop a morph cut somewhere it shouldn't go, the software shouldn't immediately crash. That's just bad design and testing.

Back again!

I upgraded my laptop to the new apple silicon line. Apple M4 Max with 48 gb of ram.

Just added a morph cut to a motion graphics template and it insta-crashed! I had no issue using one earlier on some video clips, but the second I put one on a motion graphic, I never had a chance.

Sorry for the inconvenience, could you please share the steps to reproduce this issue along with the Machine configuration? If possible, please share the sample project where you can reproduce this crash, will investigate and get back to you.

I had issues last year but it's working now without issue - maybe try the delete preferences trick.

Without* being resolved

I gave up on this feature a couple of years back. And I've been seeing people constantly complaining about it with it being resolved. 

Worse Still! PP crashes and when I open up the project again, it immediately crashes!! So I have to go back to a previous version. Morph cut...FIX IT or DITCH IT!!!
