P: No longer able to use "ctrl+\" to hide program title bar in Windows after 26.5 update.

Katie has already filed this as a bug. I will be merging this post over with that one so we have an accurate count of everyone impacted and can easily update everyone as this issue progresses.

i’m not at home, but my research the other day shows it still works in release 25.6.6. When this is executed, it hides the windows status bar at the top and the premier menu row. It does not hide the Premiere home icon - import edit export row.
As near as I can tell, this was never a keyboard shortcut assignable option. And even in PR 25, where it works, the combination shows as unassigned.

It’s possible it upgraded to just be a hotkey. Have you tried assigning “Toggle Full Screen” to Cntrl (Cmd) + \ ?

Yes, noticed it had disappeared in the Beta. Adobe clearly decided to quietly axe it.

Really, really annoying. Adobe UX designers seem to have forgotten some people use laptops.

There’s a live feature request so please upvote if you haven’t already.
 

Hitting Control (or Cmd on mac) + \ doesn’t full screen the UI in 26.5 - this feature worked fine in 26.3.2
It’s like they got rid of this feature entirely.

Thanks for stopping by the Premiere forums and giving us details about that shortcut issue in 26.5. Our team took a look and could confirm it was working in v26.3.2 on the header/title bar up top there. I was unable to get it to work in v26.5 or latest on v27.0 Beta, so we will be filing a bug report on this. 

May we please get some additional details from you for the report?

• Operating System: Specify Windows 11/10, as I see you mention Windows.
• GPU and Driver (Windows only): Please let us know your video card and driver version. We recommend updating to the most recent version; for NVIDIA users, we strongly recommend the Studio version of the driver.
