P: Stack overrun issue

It seems like the latest update of Premier Pro suddenly causes "Stack Overrun" when doing things in Premier Pro like adding Video Transitions, Copy/Paste attributes.

I have not seen that before the upgrade thet hit me a few days back,

It is mostly annoying, but I am concerned that somethings may not work at the end...

I does not show up directly after start up, it takes a bunch of edits.

If I re-start, I am free of the error for a while but it returns again....

Any idesas on a quick fix?

Thanks for the additional infio @KjellSB @Leumas_39 @gco88-us. If you double-click any of these errors in the Events panel, does it provide any more information?

I have the exact same problem going on!  I have Adobe Premiere 25.2.1. (Build 2) installed, using a Mac Book Pro, with Apple M1 Max chip and 64GB Ram on a Macintosh Sequoia 15.0.1 editing a timeline with one hour of RED Footage.
After a few cuts it always shows "stack overrun". I saved the project on different harddrives (with more storage) and in different folders, but it's still showing up. Also deleting the cache did not help. This has never happened to me before.

Since I see others having the same issue, I hope Adobe will come up with a fix quickly!

Some more observations: Using the Colour Picker for setting colour on a text also gives Stack Overrun error,

Yet another observation: If I under some minutes do not edit abything, the error is not occuring directly. It takes some edits before it is back. It is similar to when I start Premier Pro, the error takes a number of edits to start showing up.

I have now tested combinations of opening different pojects. It seems like it is not project dependent,
Once the program gets a "Stack Overrun" all projects opened will have error message, despite not having it when edited prior to an upgrade like a week back,

Hi @KjellSB and @gco88-us,

Sorry for the frustration. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.

Can you provide operating system, hardware specs, and the Premiere Pro version number you are seeing this on? (e.g. Version 25.1,  25.2,  25.2.1, etc)

What kind of media are you working with?

Hope we can help you soon,
Dani

Receiving this error as well, along with can't access audio. Still able to edit but the announcements are really annoying.
