Playhead not following ripple trim when playback in multicam

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable "Toggle Multi-Camera View"
  2. Start Playback (Press Space)
  3. Ripple Trim (Press Q) (The bug may occur after ripple triming twice)

Current behavior:

The playhead is still moving from its original position.

Predicted behavior:

Just as with ripple triming with multicam disabled, playback should stop, and the playhead will reset to the beginning of the clip (where it's trimmed).

Can be reproduced on:

Version 24.5.0 (macOS 15.1.1)

Version 24.6.3 (Windows 11)

@Fidelxyz

Thank you. We will put this issue in front of the team and see what we can do to get it working like it does in the single source monitoring playback.

I test Version 25.1.0 on Windows, and the bug still exists.

Hi @Fidelxyz ,

There is a newly updated version of Premiere Pro that may have the fix you are looking for. I would download the latest version (25.1) and let us know if that helps fix the issue.

Thank you

Ian
