PP crashes on startup

I work for a TV station and manage broadcast system. 

Last week an employee that's working on Premiere Pro experienced crash. To be more exact, it happened just after opening the program. 
Here's what i know:

  • They didn't open specific project, just the program itself.
  • Premiere pro didn't crash while being used.
  • Installing previous version of PP made it function again and project files were usable

We "solved" the problem, but i would like to know what caused this crash.

I sent a report but had no feedback yet. I found the .dmp file and can send it to you privately. Can someone from Adobe help me out with the feedback. I can send you e-mail connected to his Creative Cloud account.

Did the user send us a crash report, when it happened? If so...let us know the email address they used.

Thanks, this helped.

I assumed there's just too many stuff that can cause crash, so i decided to ask here. 
I think the user updated to latest PP version as soon as it was released, and that is during a project he's currently working on, which is always a bad idea.

Did not metntion which Premiere version and build you were using but If you were using 24.4
