Premier will not Transcribe audio i

I  have been trouble shooting for days. Premier wont transcribe anything. It starts and stops and says “no dialogue,” I have tried multiple drives, and updates. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything. This issue is a bug on adobes end. It stopped working one day and I have no idea why. I use the auto transcribe/text based editor tools EVERY DAY as part of my job. I’m very upset with this product that I have been paying exorbitantly for years for and is constantly crashing or malfunctioning in ways that make no sense.  I am an editor for my job, I do long form interviews and this bug has cost me clients and days of work

It does not affect all users, but it has been reported. Rolling back is the only reported workaround, but it depends on the version. Some users reported this as early as 26.0, while others only at 26.2.

 

You can keep 25.x installed alongside 26.x, but you can have only one version of 26 installed. It is possible to transcribe your clips in 25 and export/import to 26 those transcripts, but that would be tedious.
