Premiere 2026, render selection seems to be broken.

In Premiere 2026, when using the render selection shortcut or menu, nothing gets rendered.

Maybe someone can do a test and confirm this is a bug?

    We can gladly test this out and see if the media is rendering. While I look at how the function is working on my system, it would help us if you could use the link " How to Report a Problem," which provides steps to provide more information that can help us identify the issue.

    I’m using Premiere 26.0 on a Macbook Pro M1 Max / Sequoia 15.7.3
    I tried to ‘render selection’ on two different projects with H264 MP4 clips.
    Nothing happens. If the “play after rendering previews” setting is checked, Premiere does play, even though there is no rendering.

    OK my bad. I might be confused about how Premiere handles rendering. It seems that only red portions can be rendered, as the yellow ones do not.
