​@IanB_360 Version 26.3 behaves the same, takes loooong time to load the Welcome page and when one click on a project in the Recent list it will take several seconds before anything happens.

I did a clean install and did manually delete everything in C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\26.0 and in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\26.0 and C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro before i installed version 26.3.

​@IanB_360 - this delay in Premiere 26.2.2 to display the list of projects appears generic to both Windows and Mac systems. 
it’s easy to replicate - you just load that version and open it !

your recent project list doesn’t appear for a few seconds and clicking on your project sometimes doesn’t open it - as users have reported it can take a few. 

Have Adobe dev team verified this yet - I see no feedback  from them on this thread ?

Ditto here - it hangs in the Opening Project window.  I’ve reverted to the prior version.

It takes MANY clicks to get a project to open. Often times after closing a project, there is no list of recent projects. This is happening on Windows and Mac on 26.2.

Could you let me know if you're connected to the internet when you open Premiere? And what are your system specs? If you can provide these details, that would be extremely helpful.

• Actual Result: What actually occurred?
• Screen Recording: If possible, include a recording of your screen showing the issue.
• Premiere Version: How to find the exact version of Premiere you're using.
• Operating System: Specify Windows or macOS, along with the version.
• GPU Driver (Windows only): Please let us know your video card driver version. We recommend updating to the most recent version; for NVIDIA users, we strongly recommend the Studio version of the driver.
• Video Format: If the issue relates to playback or export, please specify the format (and ideally share a sample video).

Helpful Context 

Comparing when and where the issue occurs helps us narrow down the cause:

• Does it affect all projects or only some?
• Does it affect new, empty projects?
• When did the problem first begin?

I'm experiencing the same thing—it’s not responsive at all. Version 26.2, which was released recently, still isn't working correctly and is full of bugs. Most of the time, I can't even open projects; I only managed to open them the first time I updated, but since it wasn't functioning properly, I reinstalled it about seven times on different days, yet still had no success. When a project does open, the playhead doesn't move while the video plays, commands don't respond, and everything is frozen, making it impossible to work. Meanwhile, the previous version is running perfectly smooth, so I'm sticking with the stable version and waiting for 26.3 to see if they fix these issues.

Yes, this happen to me as well. It takes long time before i can even see the “page” that has the list of recent project when i open Premiere, and when i click on a project to open it it often requires two, three, four clicks before anything happens. It´s faster to go to File > Open Recent to open projects...
