What kind of update is this? The interface keeps lagging, and everything freezes. Roll back this update and release a proper build. I can't work!!! Not only does everything freeze—you're killing my project!!
That never works for me, and besides, I’ve already replaced the SSD—there’s no cache on it physically—but that didn’t help either. I even replaced the graphics card. Let’s just face it: the kernel is terribly outdated, the program runs poorly and is unstable, and no one can do anything about it.
Except on the several million machines where it’s running just fine ... ahem.
Are there some with issues, like yours? Oh certainly. But many more are not having troubles. So it seems worth it to figure out where the difference lies. Troubleshooting ... which helps in one or both of two ways. First, might get a user going again. Second, properly done, better data for the devs.
Sorry to hear about this. Is it freezing while doing anything specific, or is it random? Also, is it happening with any specific project or all of them?
