Premiere Freezing in new way

Latest Premiere Pro, 25.6.2, is freezing in a way it never has before. No crash dialogue box or grey screen no matter how long I wait, cursor still moves around but the program is completely non-responsive, just frozen in place, will not even close.

Only solution is to "End Task" using Task Manager.

Windows 11 24H2

AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics (3.20 GHz)

Sorry you've been experiencing issues. Could you provide any additional details about the lead-up to the freeze, like if there is any action that consistently causes this? Please see How to Report a Problem.

Is this happening with a specific project or does this happen with brand new projects as well? What kind of media are you working with and how is the space on your drives? Any third-party plugins or specific effects in use?
