Premiere Pro 2024 Transcript and Closed Caption UI Lag

I used to love using Adobe's AI Auto Closed Caption/Transcripting feature, but for some reason ever since I've been on the 2024 versions of Premiere Pro, the UI features an excessive amount of lag time between clicking a UI element and it responding. For example, the (...) ellipses is the worst of it. I've dumped cache, adjusted windows within my screen, nothing seems to improve the speed of this feature's UI lag problem. 

I'm working with...

• MacPro Studio, M2 Ultra, 64GB of Ram
• Sonoma 14.3
• Premiere Pro 24.5.0 (Build 57)

I've added a screen recording, it might be hard to see, but soon after I hover over UI elements, I am clicking them and then have to wait upward of 20 seconds for it to open and respond. 

There are other UI elements in general that feel laggy as well with premiere. I'm starting to consider moving to a different NLE for my next project. 

Side note, export UI seems almost equally awful and laggy. When it starts to encode, it's fast, but getting there is like pulling teeth.
