- Issue - Exporting a ProRes 444 with 3rd Party Effects on Clips in a Timeline is aborted with error.
- Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 24.6.1
- Operating system - macOS 14.6.1
- System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD: Serveral System tested:
Apple Silicon M1 Max & Ultra, M2 Max & Ultra
GPU: Apple Silicon
- GPU driver: macOS
64, 128, 192 GB Ram
Hard Drive: Internal Flash, iSCSI Network Volume
- Video format: Apple ProRes 422, HQ and 4444. HD, UHD, 4K, 5K, 6K
- Workflow details: Simple Timecline with Clips & Audio. 1 Layer maybe 2
- Steps to reproduce - (Very important!)
- 1. Create Sequence
- 2. Import Clips
- 3. mport Clips to the Timeline
- 4. Add 3rd Party Effect to the Clips on the Timeline. We tried Sapphire, BCC, RedGiant and RE:visionFX
- 5. Export as Apple ProRes 4444
- Expected result - File should be rendered and writen to the destination.
- Actual result - Rendering aborted with an error at the time when the clip has a thrid party effect applied.
- Workaround - Place something beneath the clip, like another clip or black solid video. The Sequence will render. Or export to ProRes422. Or do without 3rd Party Effects.
- Assumption - Something with the Alpha Channel or Transparency interpretation within Premiere Pro?
