Premiere Pro (25.6.2) Not Responding since upgrade to Tahoe (26.1)

Since upgrading to Tahoe 26.1 on my macbook pro, as soon as I drag anything to the timeline i'm hit with the spinning wheel and Premiere Pro (Not Responding) with my only option to quit.

I've tried re-installing premiere pro, deleting media cache and hard restart but no luck.

Any ideas?

Are you trying to import media into your project by dragging, or has your media already been imported and you are only trying to add it to your timeline?

What kind of media are you working with and is this happening with different projects? Where is your project and media located/stored?
