Premiere Pro 26.0 ignores Creative Cloud language preference

Hello Adobe Support,

Today my Adobe Premiere Pro application was updated to version 26.0. After the update, the application is now displayed entirely in English, even though my default language in Creative Cloud is set to Spanish.

Before this update, Premiere Pro was working correctly in Spanish. I have not changed any language or region settings in Creative Cloud, and other Adobe applications are still showing in Spanish as expected.

It seems that Premiere Pro 26.0 is no longer respecting the Creative Cloud language preference, or that the update reset or ignored the language configuration.

I have already checked:

  • Creative Cloud > Preferences > Language (set to Spanish)

  • System language (Spanish)

Despite this, Premiere Pro continues to open in English.

Please let me know how to force Premiere Pro to use the Creative Cloud language setting again or how to reinstall the Spanish language pack for version 26.0.

Thank you for your assistance.

There's no need to reinstall Premiere,... only confirmn language (even without changing anything, only push confirm button) in Cloud and restart Premiere. This works for me to show PR2026 in Spanish again

Hi everyone,

Very anoying issues with the 2026 installation :

- 2026 version create new installation folder and not a update on the older one. Meaning multiples versions of every software.

- 2026 version are in English, bypassing the language of Creative Cloud.

All the best to everyone,

Hello,

Thank you for your message! I’d like to clarify a couple of points regarding Premiere Pro 2026:
1.Installation folder: The 2026 version installs in a separate folder so you can keep your previous versions and projects intact. If you don’t need older versions, you can safely remove them via the Creative Cloud app.
2.Language setting: New installations use the Creative Cloud app language at the time of installation. If the application installed in English, you can change it by updating the language in Creative Cloud → Preferences → Apps and reinstalling Premiere Pro 2026.

Try to restart Premiere.

I'd tried this secuence: open preferences on cloud to confirm that are setted to Spanish, click "Listo" (or "OK") and restart Premiere. That works for me, first execution of 26th version shows all in english but after restart all texts are in spanish again

@mattchristensen To be even more specific, the language (in my case, French) is detected but somehow misapplied by Premiere Pro. After Effects' OK.

The language setting is Japanese, but it's showing as English.
I checked the console, and it was set to JP.
If there's another way to fix this, please let me know.
