Hi @hetansh36556896vr51,

Thanks for the report. I hope the developers will respond soon. In the meantime, we can try troubleshooting to help resolve the crashing issue with Adobe Premiere Pro when using captions and subtitles:

  1. Update Graphics Driver: Ensure that the graphics driver is up to date. Outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues.
  2. Reset Preferences: Resetting Premiere Pro preferences can sometimes resolve unexpected behavior. To do this, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) while launching Premiere Pro.
  3. Turn Off GPU Acceleration: Sometimes, GPU acceleration can cause crashes. Try turning it off by going to File > Project Settings > General and setting the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only.
  4. Clear Media Cache: Go to Edit > Preferences > Media Cache and clear the media cache files.
  5. Check Fonts: Some fonts can cause issues with captions. Try using a different font for the captions to see if that resolves the problem.
  6. Reinstall Premiere Pro: If the issue persists, try reinstalling Premiere Pro to ensure all files are correctly installed.
  7. Check for Overheating: Ensure the system is not overheating, which can cause crashes. Make sure the cooling system is working properly.
  8. Windows Updates: Ensure that Windows is fully updated, as system updates can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with software.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, you might want to contact Adobe Support for more specific assistance. Let me know if you need any further help!

Thanks,
Kevin
