Hi @Rach McIntire

I've created and attached the dump file as per your instructions. Please find it attached for further investigation.

Hi @Amal MP

I appreciate the version clarification.  That's very useful.  I should have given better directions on the DMP file.  If you're able to create the freeze in Premiere and then in the Windows Task Manager:

  • Go to the "Processes" tab
  • Locate the process for which you want to create a dump file. In this case, Premiere Pro.
  • Right-click on the process and select "Create Dump File".
  • The dump file will be saved in a temporary folder.

Hopefully, the DMP can capture the hang so we can try and see what's going on.  Since it's a freeze and not a crash, I'm not able to look it up in our system, but if you get the "Send Report to Adobe" dialogue box, please choose send.

Hi @Rach McIntire

Thank you for the prompt response!

I've noticed the font bookmarking freeze starting from version 25.2.3. In contrast, version 25.2.1 worked smoothly without this issue.

When I bookmark a font, I observe a CPU spike of around 8% in Task Manager.

I couldn't locate the DMP file at:

HI @Amal MP,

Thanks for the message and the very nice bug report.  Do you know if this bug started in 25.2.3, or was it also in a previous version?  Are you able to see if Premiere spikes the Task Manager?  If so, can you send the DMP file for us to look at?  Sorry for the frustration and thanks for reaching out.
