Premiere Search Produces No Results, Unusable or Does Not Work V26.0.1

Premiere’s search feature produces no results. It hides all the files and makes me believe I don’t have the file I imported earlier but it’s there. Doesn’t matter if I’m using the exact file name either. Doesn’t matter what type of project or why type of media. Even when I try using Premiere’s new search panel, it finds me a bunch of other things except the same file with the keyword I’m looking for.

    Hi @moisesjfuentes -   Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.

    Carlos and Stan has a good suggestion let us know everything you have tried.

    Can you try and hold down "SHIFT" while launching Premiere and check the box
    "Reset app preferences" (Backup Preferences first)

    Sorry for the frustration.

    @moisesjfuentes,

    Standard search in the Project Panel is working for me in 26.0.1 on Win 11.

    What metadata field is the keyword entered in?

    As an example, I know I have sequences with the word “audio” in it and nothing shows up. If I create a search bin and choose all metadata, I get the same result. It cannot find a single file, no matter the keyword. I also made sure I didn’t have anything hidden and right clicked > view hidden.

    This problem started when I was looking for a file that had the word “pulsar” in it. I tried using the new search panel and it shows me everything but the “pulsar” file i’m looking for lol I’ve tried sorting by name but that isn’t helpful for me. I have thousands of files in this project and an entire library of OST’s where each file begins with # instead of a letter. Not to mention that it doesn’t even start with pulsar since the # and the name of the artist comes first in the file name. I had to look in finder to find the file I was looking for.
