Presets don't save very well

Has anyone else found that presets don't really save properties properly? When I add the transform effect, set the keyframes very specifically and save the preset, whenever I add this preset onto future files it seems to just have the default keyframes without the nuanced easing in/easing out ramping that I've set. It's a bit annoying as I'm setting very specific ramping that I would like to just add onto a file anytime I need it.

@Robbie34135385e7mh,

What PR version and OS? I am running 24.5.0 on Win 10.

I did two simple tests and did not see the problem.

I added the transform effect, added 3 keyframes, and set one of them to ease in. I saved that as a preset and applied it to a new graphic. I can see the keyframes and the ease in.

I added the transform effect, added 3 keyframes, set one of them to ease in, and then adjusted the curve on it. I saved that as a preset and applied it to a new graphic. I can see the keyframes and the same shape adjustment I made.

Is the latter the general approach you are taking? Can you provide a screenshot of the original and the preset showing the difference you are seeing?

Stan
